Tomorrow, April 13th, Senator Charles Grassley will hold a second hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee focusing on Targeted Employment Areas in the EB-5 program.

Senator Grassley spearheaded attempts to draft EB-5 reform legislation prior to the short-term extension of the Regional Center program in December and has continued to press for changes to the EB-5 program since.

While most industry experts agree EB-5 reform legislation is unlikely to pass this year, this hearing represents part of the ongoing conversation between lawmakers and the EB-5 industry as they work together to draft effective legislation to introduce new compliance requirements and additional integrity measures to the program.

The hearing will take place Wednesday, April 13th at 10 A.M. PST in the Dirksen Senate Office Building, room 226, and will also be broadcast live online.

Jill Jones and Reid Thomas of NES Financial are both planning to attend.
