The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) recently released updated average processing time information for EB-5 petitions through February 29th.
Processing times have increased to an average of 16.6 months for I-526 petitions, 17.5 months for I-829 petitions, and 9.3 months for I-924 petitions. Average processing times for EB-5 petitions have continued to rise steadily.

EB-5 program growth has consistently outpaced the adjudication capacity of the USCIS. The Immigrant Investor Program Office (IPO), which adjudicates EB-5 petitions, now faces a backlog of more than 21,000 I-526 petitions pending adjudication. As a result, processing times are only expected to increase further.
