On Thursday, July 18th I attended the New England Idea Exchange hosted by the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) in Boston, MA. NES Financial exhibited at the event showcasing our 1031 exchange solutions and customized products for commercial real estate professionals, developers, and other stakeholders in the real estate industry.
We had the opportunity to network with industry professionals that expressed growing interest in 1031 exchanges. With the increase in capital gains tax rates this year, many property owners are looking into options to lower their tax burdens. As the largest independent 1031 Qualified Intermediary (QI) in the United States, NES Financial has processed more 1031 exchanges for Fortune 500 companies than any other QI.
Many conference attendees were also looking into other services we offer, like EB-5 escrow solutions and tenant deposit escrow administration. With the recent growth in the EB-5 industry, we saw more interest from commercial real estate investors looking to use the EB-5 program as a cost-effective way to raise capital.
It was exciting to see all of the changes taking place and hear firsthand how vital NES Financial’s solutions are to a company’s bottom line. We enjoyed meeting with everyone and are looking forward to continued success stories in the commercial real estate and 1031 exchange markets.
