IIUSA hosted the 4th Annual EB-5 Market Exchange in San Francisco, California from October 22-24. The event was well attended, and the topics covered were informative and on point with the latest industry trends.
The Conference began with educational EB-5 sessions and committee meetings, including the sold out New Members Luncheon on Wednesday afternoon. The Exhibit Hall was open on Thursday and Friday and gave attendees a chance to network with one another.
NES Financial, a Gold Sponsor of the event, had a booth where we were able to showcase our latest solutions, speak with fellow attendees, and conduct brief video interviews with several of our existing clients and partners. A total of four NES Financial representatives – Reid Thomas, Scott Ramsey, Coleen Danaher, and Bonnie Novella – spoke on or moderated different panels throughout the event.
Many people who stopped by our booth were very interested in knowing more about how our suite of EB-5 Solutions helps streamline the entire EB-5 process. A leader in the space, NES Financial’s EB-5 Escrow Administration, EB-5 Fund Administration, and EB-5 Immigration Workflow have been used on more than 250 projects representing over $10 billion in EB-5 capital. We also recently launched our Medallion Award Program, which recognizes EB-5 issuers who are committed to providing investors with operational excellence. Attendees were very interested in learning more about the Program and its marketing benefits, as well as how they could become eligible to receive their own Award.
A recurring theme from the event is that the EB-5 program continues to become mainstream and institutionalized. Attendees stressed the importance of Congress renewing the program so it can continue to contribute thousands of jobs to the U.S. economy.
Noted speakers at the Conference included Gary Locke, former Governor and U.S. Ambassador to China and Charles Oppenheim, Chief of Visa Controls Office for the U.S. Department of State.
This year’s NES Financial’s Conference Reception was held at the prestigious Golden Gate Yacht Club and hosted nearly 250 clients and partners. The Reception was a great opportunity for sponsors and attendees to continue to network in a more relaxed environment.
Overall, the event was a huge success. We are looking forward to attending the next IIUSA Conference in 2015 and hope to see you all there!
