IIUSA obtained data on EB-5 adjudications at the USCIS for 2013 and published the information in a recent blog.

Some data points stakeholders should be aware of:

  • I-526 approval rate from 2008 – 2013 averages out to around 84%
  • I-829 approval rate from 2008 – 2013 averages out to around 87%
  • I-924 approval rate went from 36% to 88% in 2013

According to IIUSA, these numbers go to show that the EB-5 program is getting close to maxing out its capacity, and legislative reform is needed to eliminate chance of a retrogression scenario.
